I visited this restaurant recently and experienced something that I NEVER have in the past 30 years of life. I have been to three-star to five-star restaurants around the world and have never experienced or even heard of such egregious behavior. A friend and I stopped into this place and she ordered nachos from the menu and I ordered the roast beef. However, my friend wanted chicken on her nachos and asked the waitress if that was possible. The waitress said it was. When the nachos came out there was NO chicken on the nachos, but rather corn beef shreds. As most all would agree, when have you EVER had corn beef on nachos, and more importantly why was there no chicken on them as requested. My friend informed the waitress of the mistake and asked for a salad instead. The salad was brought out and then the nachos taken back. Given that series of events we thought the salad would be substituted for the nachos. Needless to say when we go the bill the nachos and salad were both charged on the bill. We informed the waitress and she replied "I have to get my manager." The manager, but I believe the middle aged lady to be the owner, came out and asked what occurred. We informed her of the series of events and then she began to argue with us about not liking the nachos and that she still expected us to pay for them. I again reminded her that not only did my friend NOT like the nachos with corn beef on them, but that she had ordered them with chicken instead of corn beef. The manager attempted to continue to argue what she thought made sense--mind you the nachos were $8--and to make us feel bad for even bringing up the matter. I informed her that the order was wrong and the issue had nothing to do with us liking the nachos or money as she attempted to allude to. Long story short, I was fed up with the HORRIBLE customer service from the manager (aka the owner) and told her I would pay for the nachos. Without saying, I WILL NEVER BE BACK AGAIN AND WILL INFORM ALL OF MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY NOT TO PATRONIZE this place again. I am guessing that the owner must be on hard times financially to argue with a customer about $8 when her wait staff was clearly in the wrong.
